19.09. 2024 - Restricted operation from Sept. 30th to Oct. 1st
02.10 2024 - Update: Maintenance is finished, all GPU partitions are back in production.
Maintenance work is scheduled from September 30th to October 1th to reconfigure parts of Lise's communication network. During that time user operation will be restricted to the CPU CLX partition and its login nodes blogin.nhr.zib.de. The GPU partitions (A100, PVC) and their login nodes ("bgnlogin", "bgilogin") will be closed.
01.08. 2024 - Operating system migration
30.09. 2024 - Update: All CPU compute nodes are now migrated to Rocky Linux 9.
16.09. 2024 - Update: In Lise's new partition "cpu-clx" now, 688 nodes are available. In the old partition "standard96" only a limited number of nodes is available any more.
On Tuesday, July 30th, we will start preparing another 576 compute nodes of Lise's "standard96" partition for the new operating system. We expect them to be back for production under Rocky Linux 9 in the "cpu-clx" partition on August 1st.

18.07. 2024 - File system replacement
NHR@ZIB is operating a replacement of the file systems HOME and WORK. This involves a downtime for maintenance. Users will copy data during a migration phase.
